In 2022, the Nepal Farmers Advisory Council collaborated with PSP Agrovet Pvt. Ltd. to successfully implement the PSP Goat Enterprise Project in Hetauda, Makwanpur. This project aimed to enhance the entrepreneurial capabilities of local farmers through goat farming.
The Nepal Farmers Advisory Council undertook comprehensive field surveys to understand the socio-economic context and the specific needs of the farmers in the area. Based on the insights gained from these surveys, a detailed business plan was developed to ensure the project’s viability and sustainability.
To further bolster the initiative, the Council provided technical advisors, who offered valuable expertise throughout the implementation phase. Their guidance and support were instrumental in equipping farmers with essential skills and knowledge, ultimately leading to the project’s success.
The PSP Goat Enterprise Project not only aims to improve the livelihoods of farmers but also contributes to the overall agricultural development of the region.
